Simply Coming Out of Pandemic Restrictions Cautiously!

I relaunched my private lactation consultant practice during the Covid shutdown and have been delighted to serve families in the privacy and convenience of their homes with my Virtual HIPPA compliant platform.

Since receiving  amazingly positive responses  from lactation clients, I have a new appreciation for Telemed and plan to continue as long as requested.  I must admit though, I am thrilled to get back to home visits and office visits!   I wear gloves and a mask, and even bring a 70% Alcohol sanitizer spray to clean my BabyWeigh scale before and after use at consults!  (I spray my shoes and of course practice social distance, and wash/sanitize well).

For me, there’s nothing like being invited to provide lactation consultations live again rather than on-screen as I’ve done over the past year!  

I must say that the only “silver-lining” I’ve experienced during the pandemic has been  a return to and appreciation for “simplicity”.  It reminds me of a quote from Sarah Ban Breathnach.  “The simpler we make our lives, the more abundant they become.”  Although I have no affiliation with the author, I received one of her books from a client years ago, and still enjoy it!
