“Human milk is the preferred feeding for all infants, including premature and sick newborns... It is recommended that breastfeeding continue for at least the first 12 months.” - American Academy of Pediatrics Breastfeeding Policy Statement

Debi Iarussi, BSN, RN, IBCLC, RLC Debi Iarussi has been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 1995 and opened her private practice in 2007, in Austin, TX. Although now residing in the Greater Houston Area, she can do Telemed with Virtual Lactation Consultations without any geographic limitations. She is dedicated to promote, encourage, and enable the heart-to-heart connection of breastfeeding for as many mothers and babies as possible.

With decades of nursing experience, including labor and delivery, mother-baby care, NICU, and newborn nursery, she has counseled countless families with breastfeeding issues.

Debi always looks for the positive in every situation in life. She discovered an opportunity for virtual consultations with the current COVID-19 pandemic.
